Samurai X or Rurouni Kenshin

It's about a wanderer named Himura Kenshin that long time ago he was known as Battosai the manslayer. After he slayed many people he become wanderer to forget his past together with his sword Sakabato (the sharp blade is at the back of the sword). After meeting with female kendo instructor Kamiya Kaoru, a former pickpocket Myojin Yahiko, and a brawler Sagara Sanosuke they are become good friends.
