Ran, the Samurai Girl (Kazemakase Tsukikage Ran)

In the Edo or Tokugawa period, a female samurai named Ran is skilled with her sword (katana in Japanese) and care a lot of drinking sake (Japanese rice wine). She is joined by a Chinese martial artist known as Lady Meow of the Iron Cat Fist. As the two women together they face adventures and opponents of all kinds. The series created in 2000 and has 13 episodes. The genre are comedy, adventure and action, it's better for teens and adults to watch.

Ramen Fighter Miki (Muteki Kanban Musume)

Miki Onimaru is a poster girl who works at her mother Chinese Ramen Restaurant. She look like a normal girl but she can become violent if someone anger her. She picks a fight with her mother and associates as a result on almost daily basis, causing a series of trouble in their normal lives. The series created in 2006 and has 12 episodes. It's funny but it's better for teens and adults to watch.

Kaitou Saint Tail

A 14 years old girl named Meimi Haneoka is a normal girl during daytime, but during the night she become Saint Tail, a modern Robin Hood who steals from thieves and return them back to the proper owners. She supported by her friend, Seira Mimori, a nun in training and chased by her classmate, Daiki Asuka. The series created in 1995 and has 43 episodes. The genre are magical and romance, it's recommended for all ages.

Legend of the Condor Hero

It's based on Chinese TV-series Legend of the Condor Hero and Return of the Condor Hero. A young 13 years old boy named Youka is an orphan, one day his uncle, Kakusei, has him follow in his steps of martial arts and has him to study the art of Zenshinkyou. After being mistreated, Youka run away and arrive at a Forbidden Tomb where he meets a beautiful young woman named Shouryuujo. After a short time, Youka has been accepted by Shouryuujo to study the techniques of the Koboha under her and begin their adventure through martial arts and love. The series created in 2001 and has 52 episodes. The genre are action, drama, adventure and romance but it's recommended for teens and adults to watch.

Kenko Zenrakei Suieibu Umisho

Kaname Okimura is a student of Prefectoral Umineko Shougyou High (Umisho for short) who joined the school's swimming club in order to learn how to swim, but the club is filled with weirdos, so he become a coach instead. Then, a happy lucky girl named Amuro Ninagawa who transfered from Okinawa appeared to join the club. Her underwater speed and swimming style surprised every club member, especially Okimura because she remind him of a mermaid like creature when he saw only once at childhood. The series created in 2007 and has 13 episodes. It is very funny but I recommended for teens and adults to watch.

Death Note

Yagami Light is an Ace student, one day he finds a book called Death Note which is held by a shinigami (Death God). With Death Note is in his hand, Light decided to make a perfect world. A world without crime and criminals. However when the criminals start dropping dead one by one, the authorities send the legendary detective L to track down the killer. The series created in 2006 and has 37 episodes (plus 1 special episode). The genre are drama, mystery and thriller, but it's best for teens and adults to watch this series.

Inuyasha

A teen girl named Higurashi Kagome, after being pulled down to a well by a demon and find herself in the feudal Japan, she learned that a powerful jewel has been reborn on her body. After the jewels shattered, Kagome must team up with half demon Inuyasha to retrieve the shards of the jewel before it fell to the wrong hand. The series created by Rumiko Takahashi (the creator of Ranma 1/2) in 2000 and has 167 episodes, including 4 movies and 1 special episode. The genre are action, comedy, romance and it's recommended for teens to watch.

Saber Marionette

In a world of only males, they have created a female looking android also known as marionettes. Most of them have been given a special "hearts" called maiden circuits which give them emotion and human personality. Three of the marionettes were found by a young boy named Otaru Mamiya, and they caught up in a war against evil Lord Faust and his 3 human marionettes. There 2 types of series and 2 OAV, Saber Marionette R is an OAV series created in 1995 and has 3 episodes. Saber Marionette J created in 1996 and has 25 episodes. Saber Marionette J Again is an OAV series created in 1997 and has 6 episodes. Saber Marionette J to X created in 1998 and has 26 episodes. The genre are comedy, adventure, action and it's recommended for teens to watch.

U.F.O Baby / Da! Da! Da !

Kouzuki Miyu is an 8th grade girl whose parents has been hired by NASA and leaving her with Mr. Saionji. Later, Mr. Saionji decided to go for 1 year trip to India leaving Miyu alone with his son, Kanata. Another complicate thing is when an alien baby with his babysitter pet crash landed in their house. Things when the alien baby called Miyu and Kanata, Mum and Dad and showing his power and floating around. The series was created in 2000 and has 79 episodes. It's funny and recommended for all ages.

Angel Tales

Mutsumi Gorou is down on his luck, he keeps losing his job and has small amount of money. One day he meet a fortune teller saying that his luck will change. That night three girls appear in his apartment claiming to be his guardian angels. Soon a total of twelve girls appear to help, each of them is reincarnation of a deceased pet that Gorou use to own when he was a little kid. The series created in 2004 and has 14 episodes. The genre are comedy and drama but it's recommended for teens to watch. There is also second series of Angel Tales created in 2003 and consists of 11 episodes.

Alice Academy / Gakuen Alice

Sakura Mikan and Imai Hotaru are classmates and best friends, until one day that Hotaru been called away to study at strange Alice Academy. Because of this, Mikan decides to follow Hotaru and study at Alice Academy as well. There she made a discovery that she also an alice (alice for this anime is for super power or talent). The series created in 2004 and has 26 episodes. The genre is comedy and it's for all ages to watch (children under age better have parental guidance to watch this).

Bincho-Tan

It's a story about a little girl who lives in an old house at the mountain by the name of Bincho-tan. Each of the episode represents a day in the life of Bincho-tan as she prepares breakfast in the morning, gathering vegetables in the forest, does her household works and rest at night after a day's work. The series created in 2006 and has 12 episodes, the genre are comedy and drama. It's recommended for all ages, I think girls should like this series and find it adorable and cute.

Angel Heart

A young Taiwanese girl assassin with codenamed Glass Heart committed suicide and got her heart stabbed. Miraculously, her life was saved thanks to heart transplantation. During her recovery, she began of having strange dreams, makes her to go to Tokyo looking for the donor of the heart, who happen to be Makimura Kaori, the former partner of City Hunter Saeba Ryo. The series created in 2005 and it has 50 episodes. The genre are drama, comedy and action and it's recommended for teens and adults to watch.

Scrapped Princess

It's about a girl named Pacifica Casull who is the most feared and hated person by the followers of God Mauser and known as the scrapped princess. To avoid being killed by the zealots of Mauser, Pacifica and her adoptive brother and sister leave The Manhurin Village. Her brother, Shannon is a sword expert and her sister, Raquel is an expert of magic. However, someone is trying to kill Pacifica, hoping somehow to prevent the chaos that is suppose to befall the world on her 16th birthday. The series created in 2003 and has 24 episodes. It is adventure, fantasy and comedy series but it's better for teens to watch.

Jigoku Sensei Nube

Nube is a clumsy, easy-going and kind teacher, but he has a secret under the glove of his left hand. He has a monster hand and ability to sense ghosts and evil spirits. So, he will protect all of his dear students with his monster hand from all evil spirits. The series created in 1996 and has 49 episodes and 3 episodes for OAV. It has funny scenes but I suggest that, this is for teens to watch.

Saint Seiya

Ages ago, the Goddess Athena was protected and served by fighters called Saints who channeled the power of the Cosmos within them. A youth named Seiya train hard to become a Saint himself by earning the mystical Cloth of Pegasus. He joined other Saints with Cloth of their own to fight for Athena. It was created in 1986 consisting 114 episodes and 4 movies. In 2002, they were making OAV episode named The Hades Chapter : Sanctuary consisting 13 episodes. In 2004, they were making a movie called Saint Seiya Tenkai-Hen. In 2005, another OAV episode named The Hades Chapter : Inferno consists 12 episodes were made. In 2008, another OAV episode named The Hades Chapter : Elysion consists 6 episodes so far (maybe still continue) now has been made. I suggest this is for teens to watch.

Ginban Kaleidoscope

A 16 years old girl named Sakurano Tazusa is a Japanese figure ice skater who consider herself as a $ 10 billion dollars beauty. While performing her moves in the Women Figure Skating Grand Prix, she messed up by accident and resulting loss in the competition. At the same time in the same city, a young Canadian named Pete Pumps died when he was performing air stun and his plane crash. After that incident, Tazusa starts hearing a strange voice and realises that the Canadian ghost now resides her body. After unsuccessful effort to get rid of Pete, Tazusa get used to be with Pete and she works hard to her techniques so she can be selected in the Olympic. The series created in 2005 and has 12 episodes. It has funny scenes as well but it's recommended for teens to watch.

Captain Tsubasa

Tsubasa Ozohra moves to town Nankatsu to increase his skills as a soccer player. There, he was challenged by a Super Goal Keeper named Genzo Wakabayashi. Tsubasa agree to compete and will see who is the best soccer player. The series was created in 1983 and has 128 episodes and 4 movies. The other Captain Tsubasa Series are Shin Captain Tsubasa created in 1989 and has 13 episodes. Captain Tsubasa J created in 1994 and has 47 episodes. Captain Tsubasa : Road to 2002 created in 2001 and has 52 episodes. If you enjoy soccer very much, this is the perfect anime for you to watch and I recommend this for teens to watch.

The Prince of Tennis

Echizen Ryoma is a young tennis player who has won 4 successive tennis championship. He joins Seishun Gakuen Junior High School, one of the best tennis school in Japan. With his teammates he learns to find his own types of tennis in an attempt to defeat his biggest obstacle of all. The series was created in 2001, it has 178 episodes, 3 OAV and 2 movies. It's recommend for all ages and for those who love to play tennis this is the perfect anime for you to watch.
